Collection name: British National Corpus; Subjects: Language & Dialect: Approximately ten million words of naturally occurring spoken British English, captured and transcribed in the early 1990s as part of the project to build the British National Corpus, a digital snapshot of the language in the late twentieth century. The original recordings are held by the British Library. The text corpus, including the transcriptions, are available from the Oxford Text Archive.
