Collection name: Cornish Audio Visual Archive; Subjects: Oral History; World, Folk & Traditional Music; Language & Dialect: The Cornish Audio Visual Archive brings together oral history recordings, music and photographs relating to Cornwall in the past and present. It covers both old and new recordings collected through projects, donations and public history projects. Many of the recordings are made available through the Cornwall Centre in Redruth but some material is preserved by the Institute of Cornish Studies at the university campus in Penryn. The archive is also starting to make material available through an online platform 'Cornish Story'; items: 300 Open Reel Tape, 200 Compact Cassette, 750 published CD, 250 hours of video recordings.
