Description
Holdings: 
The museum's oral history archive is mainly comprised of recordings collected by Gaelic scholar Roy Wentworth and Scottish Nationalist Kay Matheson. These recordings are a unique record of the local Gaelic dialect and the songs and poetry of the Gairloch bards. The collection also constitutes an important social history records of the area, collected through interviews undertaken since the founding of the museum in 1977.
