The first edition had an audience of two; by 1999 the figure was 530, in 2005 the audience numbered 2,980, 96% of which were registered blind. Most of the concerts feature a celebrity interview; interviewees include Charlie Chester, Sir Harry Secombe, International Clown Jacky, Moira Kerr, Stanley Unwin and Dame Vera Lynn.
